The City is soliciting proposals from qualified proponents knowledgeable and experienced with employee group benefits to provide independent benefits brokering and consulting services for our employee group benefits plans. The independent employee benefits plan broker will focus on providing excellent service while working with and advising the City on: innovative approach to the rising costs of healthcare and employee benefits plans, options, designs, trends, performance and renewals, and to broker the contracts with the benefit providers. This would also include providing information and assistance to the City in the preparation of solicitation documents for issuing of the benefits plan to the insurance market.
